Whether you prefer beer, wine, or a martini, nothing says "party" quite like a full-stocked bar!
The bar at Paper Mill on The Landing is one of the most visited spots at events. Our goal is to give every couple and their guests an unforgettable wedding experience. Naturally, that includes your bar package. At Paper Mill, we offer three different levels of bar packages to suit your needs.
Bar service is provided by Paper Mill on The Landing to make your experience simple and carefree. Bar pricing includes up to 7 hours of bar service, bartenders, a security guard, non-alcoholic drinks, disposable drinkware, and alcohol included in the selected package (includes permits, liability insurance, licensing, product, delivery, supplies, set-up and tear down, etc.).
Each guest in attendance is included in the package count. This number is determined by the chair count agreed upon the final floor plan.

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY?We can hold up to 200 guests, however, we recommend a guest list between 125-150 for better flow and extra space in-between chairs and tables.

IS PAPER MILL ON THE LANDING OPEN YEAR ROUND?Yes, it is! The venue has heating and cooling to provide you and your guests with year round comfort.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE?Included in your rental price is the space from 9:00 am-11:59 pm, tables and chairs, a custom floor plan, and a Union 12 staff member onsite the day of your event to make sure everything with the venue runs smoothly. WHAT ARE THE RENTAL HOURS?You have access to the venue on the day of your event from 9:00 AM-11:59 PM!

HOW LONG CAN WE PARTY?We require that the music be turned off by 10:00 PM Sunday-Thursday and by 10:30 PM Friday-Saturday. Your rental time will end at 11:59 PM.

DO YOU HAVE GETTING READY SUITES?Yes, we do! There are two wedding party suites located on opposite sides of our floor, so both parties can ready on-site without worrying about accidentally seeing each other before the first look or ceremony.

CAN I HIRE ANY VENDORS THAT I WANT?Yes, Paper Mill has an open-door policy for all licensed and insured vendors. We do not charge outside vendors to use our facility or any vendor fees to our clients. We do have industry professionals that we can recommend to you if you are interested. Keep in mind, you are responsible for the vendors you allow into our facility. Alcohol does have to be provided by Paper Mill on The Landing. You can view a list of our recommended vendors under the "Recommended Vendors" tab on our website.

HOW DO I RESERVE MY DATE?To reserve your date with Paper Mill on The Landing, go the "Availability +Pricing" tab on our website and find the date you want on our calendar and click "Book Now". We require a 50% deposit + taxes + $500 refundable damage deposit with a signed rental contract. Then your wedding date is all yours! The remaining 50% of your venue rental payment is due 180 days (6 months) before your event.

DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?We encourage anyone not to book until they are certain of the venue, date, price, etc. We do not offer any refunds for cancellations.

WHO CLEANS AFTER MY EVENT?We do! We have a professional cleaning company provided by Paper Mill and is included in your venue rental fee. Just make sure to take your decorations with you at the end of your event.

DO YOU ALLOW ALCOHOL?Yes, we have a 3-way liquor permit. Because we are licensed, state laws require our guests to use our alcohol services. We cannot allow a third party to serve at your event. We do handle all security and licensed bartenders for your event which makes it easier on you!

IS THERE PARKING?We suggest parking in the City County Garage, which is across the street from The Landing and only a 1-2 minute walk. This parking garage can be used for event day parking or any other time. The Promenade Park Parking Garage is coming summer 2023. You can also consider booking at a local hotel and using their shuttle or walk to Paper Mill. Uber also offers a service called UberEVENTS, where you can offer your guests door-to-door rides so they don’t have to worry about searching for parking or getting home at the end of the night. All you have to do is set your event details and distribute the custom ride passes to your guests.

DO I NEED TO SCHEDULE A TOUR OR CAN I JUST STOP BY?All tours and site visits are by appointment only to ensure that you can have a private meeting/tour. You can request a tour by clicking the "Schedule a Tour" button at the top right of the website.

CAN I RENT THE VENUE THE DAY BEFORE FOR A REHEARSAL?We offer a discount for day before set-up/rehearsals if the day before your event is still available 60 days before your event. If Paper Mill on The Landing is not available the day before your event, many wedding parties rehearse offsite at their dinner location, a church, or even someones backyard. Many times parties rehearse the morning of the wedding and the bride doesn't attend. She knows where she walks and who is meeting her at the end of the aisle, so she remains in the bridal suite while everyone else runs through a short practice. At the rehearsal, you can start setting up the venue, rehearse for the ceremony, have a rehearsal dinner, or even bring items for overnight storage.

WILL THERE BE ANOTHER EVENT THE DAY OF MY EVENT?Nope! We want to make your day special so we only allow one event per day to ensure you have exclusive access to the venue.

CAN I HOLD BOTH MY WEDDING CEREMONY AND RECEPTION THERE?Yes! Paper Mill on The Landing is the perfect place to host your ceremony and reception. Depending on your final head count and your floor plan, you may need to shift a couple of tables and tear down the chairs after the ceremony, but we can talk you through a plan of how this would work ahead of time! There is no additional charge to have your ceremony onsite. In fact, we can even be your rain back-up location!

WILL YOUR STAFF BE INVOLVED IN SETTING UP AND BREAKING DOWN MY DÉCOR?Our Event Day Venue Manager (EDM for short) will be onsite from 9:00 AM-11:59 PM to answer any questions you and your vendors have throughout the event, but they will not be involved in set-up or tear down. If you're looking for help to set-up or tear down your décor, please reach out to your professional Day of Coordinator for guidance! We'd also be happy to guide your search in finding a helping hand!

HOW DO I MAKE MY PAYMENT?Check, cash, or electronic bank transfer are the acceptable forms of payment. Credit card is also an option, however, a 4% processing fee will be applied. The final payment for the venue is due 180 days prior to your event.
